We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team and help shape the future of Arcana’s B2B web-based application. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of design, finance, and data, working closely with clients, analysts, product managers, sales, and engineers. You’ll be responsible for creating and refining intuitive, powerful user experiences tailored to institutional investment professionals who work with large volumes of complex financial data. You will own the end-to-end design process, from discovery to execution, collaborating across functions to transform intricate requirements into clean, user-centric interfaces.Responsibilities: Conduct user research and usability testing, and incorporate feedback iteratively.Convert complex workflows and massive data sets into clean, navigable designs.Create wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.Prioritize functionality and clarity over purely aesthetic considerationsfocusing on data visualizations, dashboards, and detailed analytics views.Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business goals.Present design concepts clearly and effectively to senior leadership and technical teams.Develop and maintain design guidelines, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all product modules.Advocate for best practices in usability, accessibility, and user experience.Stay updated with industry trends, especially in fintech and wealth-tech product design.Continually iterate and enhance design solutions based on user feedback and performance metrics.Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution (IIT, NID, NIFT, IIM, or similar top school). A minimum GPA of 8.0/10 (or equivalent) is required.Experience: 3-5 or more years of UI/UX design experience in B2B, web-based, information-rich products (e. g., compliance, fintech, or wealth-tech).Figma mastery for wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design systems.Strong portfolio showcasing data-heavy user flows, dashboards, and analytics interfaces.Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with capital markets, stock markets, risk management, or wealth-tech products is highly preferred.Mindset and Approach: Passionate about problem-solving through design, focusing on user experience over pure visual style.
