SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed to be University is pleased to invite applications for Faculty positions at Mumbai in Marketing AreaPosition Details : Faculty Position (Marketing )Name of School / Campus : Mumbai CampusThe candidates must possess relevant industry experience and preferably with a Ph.D. qualification.The candidates with academic experience must have a proven track record of teaching in Postgraduate Programs in Management.The candidates with industry experience along with exposure to teaching, without Ph.D., will be considered for an Adjunct position.Qualifying Criteria – PROFESSOR:a. The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.ANDMinimum 10 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journalsANDMinimum Research Score of 120ANDSuccessfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.b. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, of which at least 3 years shall be equivalent to Associate Professor.ORIn the event, the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:i. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant disciplineORA Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two years full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.ANDiv. The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and 10- 15 years’ managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.c. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.Qualifying Criteria – ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: a. The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.ANDMinimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journalsANDMinimum Research Score of 75b. Minimum of 8 years of full-time experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.ORIn the event, that the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant disciplineORA Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two-year full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.ANDiv. The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and eight years of managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.c. Ph.D. is mandatory with a minimum of 55% in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.ANDb. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journalsc. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable :i) Ph.D. preferred with 2 years of experience.ii) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed.Pay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; but will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
