We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Associate – Sourcing/Purchase to join our client.The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing materials either for jewellery production - semi-precious stones, diamonds, and precious metals or jewellery-related accessories .This role involves purchase, procurement, vendor interaction & negotiation, supplier management, quality control, market research, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.Qualifications & Skills:1–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, in jewellery, coloured stones or fashion accessories.Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail.Knowledge of jewellery components or packaging materials.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Source and procure jewellery components, packaging, accessories, and precious stones.Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships.Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery timelines.Ensure quality compliance through regular checks.Coordinate with design and production teams for material needs.Monitor inventory and ensure timely replenishment.Stay informed on market trends and ethical sourcing standards.Maintain sourcing records and certifications.Resolve quality and supply chain issues efficiently.If this sounds like an exciting next step in your career, I’d love to set up a time for a call to discuss the details further.Looking forward to hearing from you!Best regards,SamolimaManager - Talent Service & Deliverysamolima.baruah@
