Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven and motivated Inside Sales Manager to lead our internal sales operations in the fast-paced finance and banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, driving lead conversion, and achieving revenue targets through strategic selling of financial products and services. This role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of banking/financial offerings, and the ability to thrive in a metrics-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Sales Strategy:Lead, mentor, and coach a team of inside sales executives to meet or exceed sales targets.Develop and execute sales strategies for cross-selling and upselling financial products such as loans, credit cards, insurance, investment services, or banking solutions.Lead Management & Conversion:Manage the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to closure, using CRM tools to track performance and customer interactions.Work closely with the marketing team to optimize lead generation and nurture campaigns.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients through phone, email, and digital platforms.Ensure a high standard of customer service and post-sales engagement to improve retention and satisfaction.Reporting & Analytics:Monitor team KPIs and sales performance metrics, and prepare regular performance reports.Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.Compliance & Training:Ensure that all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Conduct training sessions to keep the team updated on financial products, compliance guidelines, and sales techniques. Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).4–7 years of inside sales experience, preferably within banking, NBFCs, fintech, or financial advisory firms.Proven team management and sales coaching experience.Strong knowledge of financial products (loans, credit cards, mutual funds, insurance, etc.).Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office tools.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight targets. Preferred Attributes:Experience in selling retail or SME financial products via outbound/inbound channels.Understanding of compliance, KYC norms, and financial regulations.Data-driven mindset with an eye for process improvements.
