Senior Sales Account ManagerLocation: PuneCompany: DATAMOTIVE TECHNOLOGIES We are seeking a Senior Sales Account Manager who is passionate, self-motivated, and highly driven to help us expand our market presence globally. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by managing the entire sales process, from lead generation and cold calling to closing deals and account management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cloud technology sales, particularly in disaster recovery & cloud migration. You should be a resilient, results-driven individual with the ability to communicate at Director and VP levels, and work autonomously while contributing to a growing, high-performing team.What You Will BringThe knowledge and experience. You have experience in sales under your belt, related to cloud migration, disaster recovery product sales. You can create and manage a pipeline, identify sales opportunities and act on them, and you understand what it takes to succeed in selling our products.The passion. Social settings are where you are most comfortable, and where you can coordinate with your peers to achieve specific objectives, or constantly stay in touch with customers and prospects to establish a working relationship that is built on trust that you always deliver.Key ResponsibiltySales Leadership: Take ownership of the entire sales cycle—generate leads, prospect, schedule meetings, give product demos, manage proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently achieving sales targets and quotas.Lead Generation: Leverage existing networks, conduct cold calls, and use sales platforms to generate and nurture leads.Client Relationship Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers at the Director, VP, and C-suite levels, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.Strategic Sales Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to create targeted sales strategies for new markets and customer segments.Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, especially related to cloud migration, disaster recovery, and ransomware recovery, to position Datamotive’s solutions effectively.Market Intelligence: Regularly provide feedback on customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to help guide product development and marketing strategies.Strong Knowledge of Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with hybrid cloud infrastructure, software-defined data centers, and public cloud technologies, as well as disaster recovery and ransomware recovery solutions.Sales Process Expertise: Experience in all phases of the sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, meetings, product demos, proposals, negotiations, and account management.Qualifications4+ years of experience in cloud technology salesFamiliarity with hybrid cloud and software defined data center solutionsFamiliarity with public cloud technologiesExposure to entire sales process from cold calling, lead generation to closure.Good understanding of recovery scenarios (Disaster recovery and ransomware recovery) and cloud migrationAble to leverage sales platforms to generate leads, cold calls and generate a pipelineExposure to all aspects of the sales process (lead generation, prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations, and account management)Exposure to cultivating pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound leadsWhat’s in it for you?Impact.
