This role will join a dynamic team focused on ensuring aircraft safety and reliability, while leading engineers and technicians to develop innovative solutions, drive operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.WHAT YOU’LL DO:This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Directly supervise and manage the Fleet Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Component Engineering, Predictive Engineering, and Maintenance Program teamsDevelop and implement solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation for Service Bulletins issued by the OEMOversee the development of a robust chronic process and perform routine plus ad-hoc reliability analysis as neededDevelop and sustain an entire airline component engineering process and predictive engineering process on the CRJ-700/900Optimize the CRJ-700/900 maintenance program to ensure PSA operates a Safe and Reliable operationCoordinate work with other operational groups to ensure safety, airworthiness, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and operational efficiencyPerform other duties as assigned by Tech Services leadershipMust be willing and able to travel to the PSA Headquarters as neededALL YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESSMinimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in the aviation industryPrior leadership experience FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)7+ years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in the aviation industryExperience with aircraft maintenance and repair, preferably on the CRJ-700/900Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., FAA, EASA, ICAO)Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practicesExperience with project management tools and methodologies Familiarity with data analysis and interpretation tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlinesLANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organizationPhysical ability necessary to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of the position, with or without any legally required reasonable accommodations that do not pose an undue hardship.Note: If the Company has reason to question an employee’s physical ability to safely and/or successfully perform the position’s essential job functions, the HR team generally will engage in an interactive process to determine whether a reasonable accommodation is appropriate.
