Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop onboard!WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB:The Sr. Engineer, Reliability is part of PSA’s Technical Operations team of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability, performance improvements, and develop solutions that enhance both the bottom line and customer experience.WHAT YOU’LL DO:This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Mature the PSA Reliability Program to ensure the best technical performance of the CRJ-700/900 while continually performing closed-looped reliability analysisEnsure complete and accurate reporting on the Delays, Cancellations and AOG Aircraft that impact the PSA operationIdentify root cause and corrective actions for the top issues that impact PSA’s technical performanceReport out on all needed data for reliability meetings / reportsUnderstand, analyze and seek solutions to the design, operation, maintenance, performance or repair of aircraft and their componentsDevelop solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation which can include obtaining FAA approvals and coordinate warranty recovery on SBs that are applicableOther duties as assigned by Tech Services leadershipOn a rotating basis provide 7 day a week coverage for the Chronic Program within PSA’s fleet Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time, as needed, to the PSA HeadquartersALL YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESSMinimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)4 years of experience in a reliability engineering or related fieldFAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)6+ years of experience in a reliability engineering or related fieldExperience with aircraft maintenance and repairFamiliarity with FAA regulations and guidelinesExperience with project management tools Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong understanding of aircraft systems and componentsFamiliarity with reliability engineering principles and methodologiesExperience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau)LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organizationPhysical ability necessary to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of the position, with or without any legally required reasonable accommodations that do not pose an undue hardship.
