Job Title: Legal Manager Location: Mumbai Experience: 10+Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Manager with a strong background in banking and financial recovery laws, including SARFAESI, RDB, IBC, and Arbitration. The candidate should have hands-on experience in appearing and arguing cases FOR THE BORROWERS before the High Court, DRT, DRAT, NCLT, and CMM. This role involves legal strategy, litigation management, drafting and vetting legal documents, and leading a legal team.Key Role & Responsibility :Represent the Clients before High Courts, DRT, DRAT, NCLT, ARBITRATOR and CMM Courts. Handle matters under SARFAESI Act, Recovery of Debts & Bankruptcy Act (RDB), Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC), and Arbitration laws. Identify external legal counsel, prepare and discuss the case brief and ensure timely progress of litigation. Lead a team of lawyers and manage the legal department’s day-to-day administrative functions. Monitor and track court cases, maintain MIS, Candidate Requirements: • Educational Qualification: LLB (mandatory), LLM (preferred). • Experience: Minimum 10 years in legal practice or corporate legal roles with exposure to litigation, banking/financial laws, and arbitration. • In-depth knowledge of SARFAESI, RDB, IBC, Arbitration, and Civil/Criminal Procedure. • Proven experience in drafting and vetting legal documents • Demonstrated experience in appearing and arguing matters independently before relevant courts and tribunals. • Excellent communication, leadership, and administrative skills. • Strong analytical, supervisory, and negotiation capabilities.
