About the Theatre Program Lead roleThe Theatre Program Lead will oversee our theatre and dance program across grades 1 through 9. The person will be responsible for crafting a vibrant curriculum, directing school productions, and leading a team of two theatre teachers and two dance teachers to inspire and develop students' theatrical talents and appreciation.Specific responsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive theatre curriculum that engages students from grades 1 to 5, ensuring it aligns with the educational standards and school objectives.Develop a comprehensive dance curriculum that engages students from grades 1 to 5, ensuring it aligns with the educational standards and school objectives.Direct major school theatrical productions, including plays and musicals, ensuring high-quality performances.Manage and mentor two theatre teachers, and two dance teachers fostering a collaborative environment to enhance educational outcomes and professional growth.Conduct 2 theatre sessions per week in the classroom.Work with PYP Coordinator to integrate transdisciplinary approaches that enrich the overall educational experience.Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school administration to promote the theatre program and highlight student achievements.Maintain a safe and inclusive environment that encourages creativity and respects diversity.Preferred Qualifications/SkillsBachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts, Drama Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Experience in theatre education Ability to work with children in the age group of 6 - 14 yearsHow to apply?If you think you would be a good fit for the role, please send your resume to careers@.
