We are seeking a talented and passionate Full-Stack Engineer to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role where you'll be instrumental in developing and scaling our core platform, from robust backend services to intuitive front-end experiences, with a strong focus on AI integration and data pipelines. If you thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, are excited by the intersection of wellness, AI, and wearable technology, and want to make a tangible impact on user well-being, we want to hear from you.What You'll Do:Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).Build and optimize APIs to support data flow between our smart ring, mobile app, integrated third-party wearables, and our backend systems.Implement and manage integrations with AI models (e.g., OpenAI's API) for features like health, fitness, and wellness scoring, and our Health AI Assistant.Work closely with data scientists and AI specialists to integrate AI models into the product and optimize data pipelines for AI processing.Develop user-facing features and improve the overall user experience of our web and mobile platforms.Contribute to database design and optimization for handling large volumes of wellness data.Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our platform.Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions.What We're Looking For:Proven senior level experience in full-stack development using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).Demonstrable experience or strong understanding of AI model integration (e.g., consuming APIs from OpenAI or other AI services).Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.Familiarity with database management (MongoDB, potentially others).Experience with version control systems (Git).Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Passion for health, wellness, and wearable technology.Prior experience in a startup environment is a bonus.Why Join Pi Ring?Pi Ring is VC backed with a solid growth trajectory.Be a core part of a startup shaping the future of AI-driven wellness.Work on a cutting-edge product that directly impacts people's health and well-being.Opportunity to work across the full stack and integrate exciting AI technologies.Collaborate with a passionate and supportive founding team.Flexible working arrangements.
