HCT is the technology wing of Sagility Healthcare, providing products and services to customers. HCT team work closely with Healthcare Operations to provide technology services including Automation, Application, Development, Analytics & Reporting and Data Science Modeling to healthcare customers. We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst to join our team.The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in business analysis within the healthcare industry, particularly working with healthcare providers. This role requires an in-depth understanding of healthcare system, regulations, and technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes, and translating complex healthcare requirements into actionable insights for system development and improvement.Job Description:Roles & Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and provide technology solutions related to healthcare systems.Analyze complex healthcare data sets including EDI, claims, eligibility, utilization, and quality metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.Develop detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.Develop user stories and define acceptance criteriaTranslate regulatory and compliance requirements (HIPAA, HEDIS, CMS, ICD, CPT) into business solutions.Lead business process redesign and optimization initiatives to support efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.Support testing efforts by defining test plans, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), and validating system outputs.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the alignment of solutions with business needs.Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership.Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis methodologies and tools.Participate in vendor evaluations, system upgrades, and enterprise project implementations.Work with Product Managers and Project Managers to plan timing for releases and upgradesFollow progress of work and address production issues during sprintsLead and manage technology consulting projects, integrating business analysis and technology implementation.Lead and guide project teams to ensure successful project delivery.Provide expertise in technology consulting methodologies and tools.Contribute to strategic decision-making and project planning.Requirements:7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare domain (payer, provider, or health tech).Solid understanding of healthcare business processes, terminology, and regulatory requirements.Hands-on experience with tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI, Visio, JIRA, Confluence.Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProven experience in business analysisAttention to detail and accuracy in workPreferred Skills:Experience working in cross-functional agile teams and in a product development environment.Familiarity with advanced business analysis tools and methodologiesIn-depth knowledge of industry best practicesExperience with managing and leading technology consulting projectsStrong project management skillsRegards,Shaik Thanveer AhamedShaik.ahamed@
