This role involves driving sales, developing client relationships, and delivering tailored AV solutions to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AV products, industry trends, and sales strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.ResponsibilitiesSales Cycle Management:Drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—with a focus on technically complex AV projects. Client Consultation:Conduct technical needs assessments and site surveys to understand client requirements. Collaboration:Work closely with engineering, design, and project teams to develop proposals, solution diagrams, and system designs. Presentations:Present AV solutions to clients, translating technical language into business value and ROI. Product Knowledge:Maintain deep product knowledge of AV systems including control systems, signal processing, video conferencing, networked AV, and display technologies. Team Development:Train and mentor sales team members on AV technologies and solution positioning. Vendor Management:Manage key vendor relationships and stay current on AV product innovations and certifications. Account Management:Manage and expand a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Proposal Preparation:Prepare detailed scopes of work, budgets, and timelines for proposals. RFP Responses:Respond to RFPs and RFQs with detailed, technically sound documentation. Post-Sale Support:Support post-sale transition to project management, ensuring expectations are clearly defined and met. Sales Tracking:Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline reports, and achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Representation:Represent the company at industry trade shows, events, and client meetings.QualificationsEducation:Master/Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience in AV sales, account management, or a related role. Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of AV solutions, including video conferencing, control systems, and integration. Sales Skills:Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets with a consultative sales approach. Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer Service:Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. Problem-Solving:Ability to assess client needs and offer tailored AV solutions.
