Position: Business Development Manager – Certification ServicesLocation: PuneQualification: BE – Electrical / MechanicalOrganization: TÜV SÜD South AsiaRole OverviewTÜV SÜD South Asia is seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Business Development Manager to lead and expand its certification services portfolio. The focus is on private sector clients in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Process Industries.Key Responsibilities- Sales & Business Development - Promote and drive sales of certification services including ASME, PED, IBR, PESO, DOSH, EN, MoM within manufacturing and process industries. - Target Achievement - Responsible for achieving annual business bookings of ₹8–10 Cr, with a primary focus on new customer acquisition. - Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, senior technical personnel, and procurement teams. - Lead Generation & Conversion - Identify new opportunities, develop leads, and convert them into order bookings. - Tender & Proposal Support - Support the tendering and proposal team by providing market intelligence, technical inputs, and competitive pricing strategies. - Vendor Registration & Empanelment - Manage registration and empanelment processes with key clients to ensure eligibility for upcoming projects. - Market Insight & Planning - Continuously gather customer insights, monitor project pipelines, and support strategic sales planning.Candidate Profile- Education: BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering - Experience: 6–12 years in business development, technical sales, or certification services - Industry Focus: Expertise in Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Process industries - Key Skills: - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Proven experience in handling private industrial clients - In-depth knowledge of certification standards and processes - Ability to make strategic pricing decisions aligned with business objectives
