The UAV Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing unmanned aerial vehicle systems. Daily tasks include developing flight control algorithms, conducting system integration tests, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Education and Experience: Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Aeronautical / Aircraft Maintenance/Aerospace Engineering. 2+ years working experience as a Maintenance Technician for Aircrafts, Power Turbines, Mining Equipment, or other Complex Technical Equipment. Hands on experience with CNC machine tools, 3d printers, etc. desired Ability to travel to support field testing and training Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Excellent people skills, preferably experience working on a small, fast-paced team An aggressive personality, driven by performance would be a good fit for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong listening and presentation skills. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:UAV Design, Assembly and Disassembly. UAV Wiring, Wire Testing, and Quality Control. Basic system-level functionality testing. Basic software development tasks, Sensor Integration. Basic Troubleshooting (Electrical / Wiring / PCB). Prototype component Integration. Basic understanding of conventional navigation (GPS, INS, Magnetometer) and SBAS Corrections. Assembling complex sensor systems through mechanical assembly, soldering circuit boards, and building complex wiring harnesses. Assemble, debug, fix, and tune UAV systems. Performing lab and/or field tests for individual component subsystems and/or complete systems ensuring compliance with functional and performance requirements. Updating and organizing design documentation such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material. Maintaining and organizing test and laboratory equipment. Experience with consumer drone products and open-source hardware/software, (APM, Pixhawk, Mission Planner). Experience with Drone, RC piloting, assembling and building Experience with a variety of sensors, (Gyroscope, Accelerometers, LiDAR, GPS, Magnetometers) preferred. Soldering Proficiency, both thru-hole, and SMD. Hands-on test and debugging experience with knowledge of standard electronic test equipment (e.g. multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, signal generator). Designs support and servicing workflows and Standard operating procedures.
