The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Mathematics at the IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) level and be committed to fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment. This role requires not only expertise in Mathematics but also the ability to guide students through the rigors of the IBDP curriculum, preparing them for both internal assessments and the final IB exams.Responsibilities: Teach and facilitate IBDP Mathematics (HL and SL) courses in line with the IBDP curriculum requirements. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the IBDP standards and incorporate real-world applications of mathematical concepts. Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and support their individual learning styles. Regularly assess students’ performance through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback. Prepare students for IBDP internal assessments and the final exams, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges of the programme. Encourage critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and problem-solving skills in students. Monitor and track student progress, helping them set academic goals and supporting them in achieving their potential. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters open discussion, collaboration, and independent thinking. Collaborate with other faculty members to support the holistic development of students and integrate interdisciplinary learning. Stay updated on IBDP curriculum changes and developments in the field of education, continuously enhancing your teaching practice.Key Skills Required: In-depth knowledge of IBDP Mathematics curriculum, including both Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL). IB-certified in Mathematics -IBDP 2-5 years of experience teaching IBDP Mathematics (HL and SL). Familiarity with the latest IB assessment methods and student evaluation processes. Strong background in teaching Mathematics in an international or multicultural setting is preferred.
