The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of reporters, stringers, and field crews, ensuring a constant and efficient flow of relevant news content to the editorial team..Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all incoming news content from reporters, bureaus, agencies, and sourcesCoordinate coverage plans for breaking news, live events, and scheduled reportsLead the input desk, assign stories, and manage daily news logisticsEnsure timely and accurate flow of news information to output and production teamsMaintain communication with field reporters, OB vans, and newsroom teamsPrioritize news items based on editorial value and urgencyBuild and maintain a network of reliable sources and field contactsCollaborate with output editors, producers, and planning desks for cohesive news deliveryQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field3 Yrs + years of experience in a newsroom, including at least 3 years in a leadership/input roleDeep understanding of news priorities, editorial judgment, and field operationsStrong coordination, communication, and crisis management skillsAbility to multitask and handle high-pressure situations in real timePreferred Skills:Experience in live news environments (TV or digital)Working knowledgeRegards, Neha Khandelwal neha.k@
