Job Description: Oversees the overall operations of all warehouses, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and dispatch. This role ensures that inventory is stored efficiently and safely while maintaining high service levels and cost-effectiveness.Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs): Warehouse Operations:Ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations across all warehouse locations. Inventory Storage & Safety:Enforce best practices in product handling, layout optimization, and safety compliance. Process Standardization:Develop and implement SOPs across all warehousing functions to drive consistency and efficiency. Team Management:Lead and train warehouse staff to enhance productivity and operational discipline. Technology Utilization:Oversee WMS (Warehouse Management System) implementation and optimization. Loss & Damage Control:Minimize shrinkage, damages, and pilferage through robust control systems. KPIs: Order Picking Accuracy:% of orders picked without errors. Warehouse Space Utilization:Efficiency of space used relative to capacity. Cycle Count Accuracy:% match between physical and system-recorded stock. Inbound & Outbound TAT (Turnaround Time):Average time taken for processing goods. Warehouse Operating Cost per Unit:Total cost per unit processed through the warehouse. Inventory Shrinkage Rate:Loss due to theft, damage, or misplacement.Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain (MBA preferred). • 8–12 years of experience in warehouse/logistics, including 3+ years in a leadership role. • Proficiency in WMS, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making. • Strong communication and team management skills.
