The Global Perspectives Educator is responsible for delivering the Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS & A Level Global Perspectives curriculum. The role emphasizes developing students’ critical thinking, research, analysis, collaboration, and presentation skills. The educator should help learners explore global issues from multiple perspectives (local, national, global) and guide them in forming reasoned arguments supported by evidencePrimary responsibilities would include the following: Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Global Perspectives syllabus Foster critical thinking, collaboration, and independent research among students. Prepare learners for components such as Individual Research Reports & Group Projects. Group Projects Written Exams (depending on level) Encourage debate and inquiry into global themes such as sustainability, technology, culture, education, governance, and ethics. Use ICT tools for research, collaboration, and presentation. Stay updated with Cambridge assessment changes and pedagogical strategies Participate in staff development, parent meetings, and curriculum planning.Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in education, Social Sciences, Humanities, International Relations, or related fields Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in international curricula. Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE or AS Global Perspectives framework. Experience teaching Global Perspectives (0457/9239) specifically. Experience with inquiry-based and interdisciplinary learning models
