About the Company: The MYP & DP English Teacher is responsible for providing a stimulating learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students in the International Baccalaureate (IB). The teacher will deliver engaging and rigorous lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love for the English.Responsibilities:Curriculum Planning and Delivery: Design and implement MYP&DP English curriculum in alignment with IB standards.Develop and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students.Assessment and Evaluation: Create and administer formative and summative assessments.Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.Use assessment data to inform instruction and support student progress.Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Implement effective classroom management strategies.Foster a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.Stay current with educational best practices and IB developments.Collaborate with colleagues to share strategies and resources.Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.Prepare progress reports and conduct parent-teacher conferences.Engage in regular collaboration with the IB Coordinator and other faculty members.Extracurricular Involvement: Support and participate in school events and extracurricular activities.Mentor students and contribute to their holistic development.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Teaching certification/licensure for the relevant grade level.Experience teaching in the IB Middle Years & DP Programme preferred.Strong knowledge of MYP&DP philosophy, framework, and assessment criteria.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
