Job DescriptionFormulate area / location specific product programs and policies for growth of the Housing & Micro-Mortgages business in line with the objectives set.Undertake projects and lead cross functional teams for IT related projects to provide solutions for various process improvements.Undertaking periodic review of the business P&L, identify areas of good performance and improvement, and propose corrective action to ensure budgets and return ratios are met in line with plans for the Housing & Micro-Mortgages business.BusinessTo identify products, segments and markets for the housing & MM loan segment to focus on.To formulate product programs, new products and policies to enable growth of the Housing & MM business.Drive the implementation of new policies & amendments through proper communication/training to all relevant stakeholders in the organization.To track performance of the Housing & MM business through MISs on various business and credit parameters like disbursements, of accounts, fees, PAR, NPAs, productivity and other parametersTo review income plans and identify additional sources of revenues and fee income to drive overall profitability of the business.To work closely with marketing to develop various marketing schemes and marketing campaigns to enable growth of businessDrive the Digital lending business of Housing & MMInitiate engagements with Fintech, technology companies, analytics companies, Payment solutions firms, and other similar companies for potential tie-ups for digital lendingSupport the Housing & MM Business team to achieve the business numbers for the yearTo prepare and finalize yearly business plans in discussion with the Business Head, regional heads, Finance and strategy teamsTo chart out the long term 3-4 years plans for the business in consultation with various stakeholders.To develop performance metrics for driving performance of the team members.To design contests and other marketing activities to drive performance of the business unitKeep abreast with latest in Housing & Micro Mortgage loan space with respect to legal and technical aspects and bring that to implementation.CustomerTo regularly travel, visit customers, meet connectors and builders and use insights to develop products and processes for better customer satisfactionTo develop analytical tools for identifying customers for growing relationships and improving customer stickiness.To streamline processes to ensure improvement in TATs and timely delivery of financial services to customers.To liaise with other business for cross sell opportunities available internally.To work with RBM for rationalize team strength at locations for maximizing productivity.Engage with Customer and staff to understand the customer and field staff requirements while framing the policies and processesInternal processTo visit front-end teams regularly and take feedback on processes and products to identify pain points that need to be addressed.To identify areas of process improvement and develop plans to improve processes in a time bound manner.To streamline processes in order to achieve seamless roll out of products and enhance customer responsiveness.To undertake projects and lead cross functional teams for IT related projects to provide solutions for various process improvementsTo ensure that the processes are compliant with internal and external audit requirements and RBI/other regulatory compliancesTo set up customer grievance cell as part of housing vertical.Learning & PerformanceEnsuring that all the employees across the regions are trained on products and processes.For any new product program and processes being introduced, communicate and train the business and credit teamsCollaborate with training & development team to design & execute training programs on Credit Policies and Processes, Supervision, Collections and AnalyticsEnsure goal-setting, midyear review and annual appraisal process happens within specified timelines for self and reporteesProvide Growth opportunities to team members to cross learning and mentoring talent
