The Organization is a consulting firm comprising business advisory, financial advisory, tax consulting & CAs, specializing in various taxation aspects and servicing clients including Japanese and Multinational Companies subsidiaries in India who wish to venture into the Indian market. Position: Sr. Associate GSTExperience: 3-6 YearsQualification:Qualified –CA (CA fresher with prior relevant experience as per the job details)Prior working experience in GST compliance and advisoryJob DetailsProviding advice on various issues like classification, rate of Tax, applicability of exemption notifications, eligibility of input tax credit, job work, liability to pay Tax on import of goods and services or under reverse charge, valuation, etc. under GST Laws.Providing assistance to clients in obtaining and surrender of registration, filing of refund claims, review of data and filing of monthly and annual returns.Filing of GST monthly and annual returns, filing of refund application.Conducting GST health checks for clients.Drafting and filing of show cause notices/ appeals/ submissions/ write petitions before departmental authorities/ tribunals/ High Courts/ Supreme Court.Monthly compliance GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B end to end responsibility.Monthly reconciliation of Input Tax Credit taken with GSTR 2A/2B.GST ITC refund for exports (56 Crores)Monthly filling of RCM on import of services and goodsCompleted filling annual return GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.Completed GST department audit for FY 2018-19 to 2021-22.Handled GST notices under section 73, 74, 83.Assisted preparation of reply to be filled and represented organization before authorities.Resolving query on the day-to-day basis of the team, Vendors, CustomerAnalysis of amendments and/or updates in the GST law and their impactPreparation of various reports and analysis for managementCoordination with the internal department and consultants for various tasks
