The role focuses on developing aircraft micro-simulation models to support airside planning, improve operational efficiency, and assess layout and procedural changes.Key Responsibilities:Develop micro-simulation models for aircraft taxiing, pushback, towing, and stand operationsAnalyse ground movement flows, delays, stand occupancy, and runway usageAssess layout efficiency, conflict points, and turnaround operationsInterpret and analyse flight schedules to model realistic aircraft movementsCoordinate with airside planners, layout designers, and operational teamsDeliver technical outputs, visualizations, and scenario assessmentsRequirements:Minimum 10 years of experience in transport or airport simulation with a focus on aircraft ground movementsProficient in tools such as AirTop, CAST, or similar aircraft simulation softwareStrong understanding of aircraft operations, stand allocation, and apron proceduresAbility to work with flight schedules, stands, and gate assignment logicExperience in runways assignment and runway capacitySkilled in interpreting airport layout drawings and integrating them into simulation modelsEffective communication and reporting abilities
