Job Title: HSE & S - OfficerLocation: Food Blending Unit – BhiwandiReports to: Manager - QSHEFunction: Health, Safety, Environment & SecurityDuties and Responsibilities:-Ensure that the guidelines are followed, and report any non-compliance issues, both short term and long termEnsure that in the event that local regulation is more stringent than the guideline, local regulation is followed at any time, and that non-compliance issues are reported in writing as aboveImplement BT-IN HSE & S strategy to meet the requirements of APAC QSHE strategyAssist in the development of Quality, health, safety and environment system to meet requirements of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standardsAssist in the development of Quality, health, safety and environment system to meet requirements of Responsible Care certification standardAssist in implementation of corporate QSHE guidelines and various initiatives such as zero chemical exposure, Fire safety, AIPSMIdentify and mitigate risks associated with work.Undertake safety inspections and auditsAssist in Incident investigation and root cause analysis of accidents / incidentsTo encourage employees near miss reporting and ensure closure of actions for Near missesTo ensure management of change is followed for all changes at sitesTo prepare safety operating proceduresTo conduct periodical emergency preparedness mock drillsTo ensure pollution control board consent conditions compliance with periodical submission of returns, environmental statementTo ensure safe chemical delivery guidelines are followed by warehouses, transportersTo assist Job 7 reporting with actions to reduce Job 7 cases by implementing proper CAPAAssist for licenses renewal and compliances under FSSAI, FDA, Pollution Control board, Factory inspector, Legal and Metrology, waste managementImplement HSE & S management system for proposed project expansion at Food blending, application labs,To conduct various safety awareness trainings, safety day celebration, environment day celebrationJob Requirement/Specification: -Education: B. Sc./ M. Sc. Chemistry/ Environmental Science + Advanced Diploma inIndustrial SafetyExperience: Minimum 3-5 YearsWorking experience in the chemical industry
