As an independent and autonomous body, QCI creates a mechanism for independent third-party assessments of products, services, and processes, coordinating its activities through its constituent boards and divisions. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, serves as the nodal point for QCI.Job Overview We are seeking an experienced expert to lead the evaluation and enhancement of hospitality training schemes at the national level. The selected candidate will play a critical role in assessing the design, delivery, effectiveness, and impact of these schemes.Key Responsibilities ·Evaluate the structure, curriculum, delivery mechanism, and outcomes of hospitality training schemes implemented by various public and private institutions. ·Conduct qualitative and quantitative assessments through field visits, stakeholder consultations, and secondary research. ·Identify skill gaps, effectiveness of training interventions, and alignment with industry needs and national skill standards. ·Assess training outcomes across multiple dimensions, including knowledge transfer, behavioral change, on-the-job application, and long-term impact. ·Analyze the adequacy of infrastructure, trainer quality, learning resources, assessment, and certification processes. ·Design data-driven assessment frameworks and tools to evaluate training effectiveness. ·Synthesize findings into comprehensive reports and policy briefs with strategic recommendations. ·Coordinate with government bodies, training institutions, and industry stakeholders for information gathering and validation. ·Support the development of future-ready, industry-aligned, and outcome-driven training models.Please notethat this is a part-time, project-based role and the scope of engagement will vary depending on the project’s requirements. Base Location– New DelhiQualifications and ExperienceEducational Background:Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Education, Public Policy, TourismExperience:Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in hospitality training, skills development, vocational education, or tourism capacity building, with proven expertise in assessing large-scale training schemes.Skill and Expertise ·Ability to design and apply multi-level training evaluation frameworks for assessing training effectiveness. ·Strong knowledge of hospitality sector trends, skill requirements, and service delivery standards. ·Proficiency in stakeholder consultations, data collection, field evaluation, and survey tools. ·Experience in analyzing training outcomes related to knowledge acquisition, behavior change, performance impact, and return on investment. ·Familiarity with national skill development frameworks, regulatory bodies, and quality standards. ·Excellent research, analytical, and report-writing skills. ·Prior experience working with Central/State Governments, PSUs, or donor-funded projects. ·Willingness to travel to training institutes for on-ground assessments.Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are requested to submit their Resume/CV a via ‘Easy Apply’ OR email their Resume/CV with a cover letter highlighting relevant experience and qualifications at emailankita.tyagi@ with subject title “Application for Technical Expert – Hospitality Training Schemes”
