Ft.About the role:Assistant Manager/Manager - Market Research is a key member of the IDEX India Marketing and Strategy team. Responsible for collecting and analysing data about economy, market, customers, competition, technology trends and present strategic recommendation to Business Units. The position requires excellent analytical, critical thinking, communication and presentation skills with core competency in industrial market research and strategy consulting. This position reports to Marketing Director IDEX India.Roles and responsibilities: Collect, Monitor and analyse macro industry growth trends & market dynamics for IDEX key markets through primary and secondary research. Understanding business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences, market & competition trends. Conduct Voice-of-customer, Voice-of-Business & competitor survey and execute all activities associated with the survey to collect market, customer, competitor intelligence. Analyse data collected through primary and secondary research and Interpret the findings to provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations to businesses. Provide insights on new trends (Technology, Market, Customer ) and recommend new focus areas for the business.Qualifications and Competencies: Experience -3-6 years’ experience acquired at a top-tier consulting or market research & strategy within a manufacturing firm in an industrial segment (B2B).Technical competency Deep understanding of IDEX key markets, customer, competition to perform valid and reliable market research. Remain fully informed on market trends. Awareness about right sources to keep self-updated about new trends. Strong analytical& Critical thinking skills: Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations . Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen. Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc). Strong quantitative, research and data analytics skills. Good listening skills & communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Ability to work independently and also as a part of team. Ability to manage time and pay close attention to detail.
