Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of costing principles, excellent analytical skills, and extensive experience with SAP ERP, particularly in the areas of Procurement, Planning, Inventory, Finance and Operations. You will be responsible for analyzing production costs, identifying variances, and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Job Description: Settlement and Analysis: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Perform accurate and timely settlement of production orders. Analyze cost variances and identify root causes. SAP ERP Expertise: Utilize comprehensive knowledge of SAP modules (Warehousing, Procurement, Inventory, Sales Orders) to support Procurement activities. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within SAP. Troubleshoot SAP-related costing issues. Variance Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze variance reports, including Material Usage Variance (MUV), labor variances, and spending variances. Provide recommendations for cost reduction and process improvement based on variance analysis. Reporting: Develop, maintain, and analyze standard and actual costing models. Maintain accurate and up-to-date Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Recipe maintenance. Analytical and Problem-Solving: Utilize strong analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in Procurement data. Develop and implement solutions to address cost variances and improve efficiency. Provide ad hoc reporting as needed.Profile Description: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Industrial Engineering, data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Extensive hands-on experience with SAP ERP, including a comprehensive understanding of Warehousing, Procurement, Inventory, and Sales Order modules. Proven ability to analyze production cost variances and identify root causes. Proficiency in generating and interpreting Procurement reports. Experience with Bill of Material and recipe maintenance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) e.g., food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals]. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Analyst) is a plus.
