Role Overview TheChief Technology Officer (CTO)will be astrategic and hands-on leader , accountable for architecting the product's evolution, driving measurable outcomes, and building a high-performance technology organization. Beyond technical excellence, the CTO is expected to connect engineering execution directly tobusiness KPIssuch as customer engagement, delivery velocity, uptime, scalability, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate combinesdeep architecture expertise ,strong product sense , andownership mindset —not only defining what gets built, but why and how it drives customer and business impact. ✅Key Responsibilities 1.Technology & Product Leadership Lead modernization of legacy architecture into a scalable,cloud-native, API-first , and AI-augmented SaaS platform. Own technology direction and decisions end-to-end—from backend systems and DevOps tofront-end architecture and UI performance . Proactively driveobservability, reliability, security, and complianceinto the platform. 2.Business & Product Alignment Partner with Product and Executive leadership to translate roadmap into scalable solutions that support rapid customer growth. Tie engineering metrics (velocity, uptime, unit economics) directly tobusiness success indicators . Lead scenario-based decisions aroundtrade-offsin cost, performance, and time-to-market. 3.Hands-On Technical Oversight Set the standard fortechnical depth and architecture excellence —not just in oversight, but in code and systems design when needed. Provide clear, confident recommendations ontechnology stack decisions , including front-end and infrastructure modernization paths. 4.Team Development & Decision Ownership Build and coach a high-caliber engineering team that thrives onaccountability, ownership, and autonomy . Ensure clearownership structureswithin the team—avoiding over-dependency on juniors or fragmented responsibility. Instill a culture of proactive decision-making and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams. Current & Future Tech Stack Frontend:ReactJS (ES6), Redux, HTML5, CSS3 Backend: MVC (C#), Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) Middleware:WCF, ServiceStack Cloud & DevOps:Azure, Kubernetes, PowerShell, CI/CD pipelines Transformation Focus: Microservices & API-first architecture AI-assisted development & test automation Real-time observability & security Cost-optimized, scalable infrastructure Ideal Candidate Profile 15+ years in software engineering; 5+ years in technology leadership (CTO or equivalent). Proven track record modernizing complex, legacy platforms while ensuringbusiness continuity . Clear ability to link engineering execution withproduct metrics and business results . Hands-on with full-stack technologies—especially MVC, SQL, JavaScript/React, and Azure. Demonstrated leadership in cloud-native SaaS environments withsecure, observable, and cost-efficient design principles . Strong communicator with theability to independently drive strategy , execution, and cross-functional alignment.
