Job Title: Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivables Department: Finance & Accounts Location: Bangalore (Kudlu Gate) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary : We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable to oversee the AR team and ensure timely and accurate collection of receivables. The role involves managing end-to-end AR processes, implementing credit policies, minimizing DSO, and driving process efficiency. Key Responsibilities : • Oversee daily operations including billing, collections, and cash application. • Establish and monitor credit limits, payment terms, and collection strategies in alignment with company policies. • Payment gateway reconciliations and automation of process. • Monitor aging reports and take proactive steps to reduce overdue balances and DSO. • Drive root cause analysis and resolution of recurring collection and billing issues. • Liaise with internal teams (sales, operations, customer service) and external customers to resolve payment delays and disputes. • Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings related to AR. • Assist in audits (internal, statutory, and external) by providing necessary data and reconciliation statements. • Develop and improve AR-related SOPs and ensure compliance with internal controls. • Train and mentor junior AR staff, fostering a high-performance culture. Requirements : Qualified Chartered accountant. Minimum 3–6 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control. Strong understanding of AR processes, credit risk assessment, and collections strategy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
