Job Title :: WSO2 Integration ArchitectLocation :: Bengaluru/Chennai/Hyderabad (Remote)Domain Experience :: Banking/FinTech/Payments About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced WSO2 / Integration Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise integration solutions. You will play a key role in defining the architecture and strategy for APIs, services, and integrations using the WSO2 platform and related technologies. This is a critical leadership position that requires both technical expertise and the ability to align integration architecture with broader business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions using WSO2 (API Manager, Enterprise Integrator, Identity Server).Define integration standards, patterns, and best practices to support enterprise systems and applications.Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Drive the implementation of APIs and integration flows, ensuring reusability and maintainability.Oversee performance tuning, capacity planning, and security for integration components.Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams implementing integration solutions.Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments for integration components.Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations through secure integration practices.Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.Requirements:Must-Have:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience in integration architecture or enterprise application integration.4+ years of hands-on experience with WSO2 products (API Manager, Enterprise Integrator, Identity Server).Strong understanding of SOA, ESB, API management, and microservices architectures.Proficiency in XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, JSON, and integration protocols (HTTP, JMS, etc.).Experience with OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and other identity and access management protocols.Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Nice-to-Have:Experience with other integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel).WSO2 certifications (e.g., WSO2 Certified Integration Architect).About Ascendion:Ascendion is transforming the future of technology with AI-driven software engineering.Our global team accelerates innovation and delivers future-ready solutions for some of the world’s most important industry leaders.Our applied AI, software engineering, cloud, data, experience design, and talent transformation capabilities accelerate innovation for Global 2000 clients.Join us to build transformative experiences, pioneer cutting-edge solutions, and thrive in a vibrant, inclusive culture - powered by AI and driven by bold ideas.
