This role will leverage data insights to drive maintenance efficiency, reliability, and innovative solutions across the entire data landscape.WHAT YOU’LL DO:This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Understand the entire data landscape within PSA, including technical operational metrics and aircraft data landscapesWork directly with the PSA Predictive Engineer to ensure data insights from aircraft data are efficiently translated to appropriate maintenance actionsCollaborate with PSA Reliability Engineering to develop applications that effectively identify and visualize reliability trendsDevelop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support business decisionsOther duties as assigned by Tech Services leadershipMust be willing and able to travel 10% of the time, as needed, to the PSA HeadquartersALL YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESSMinimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field4 years of experience in data analysis, engineering, or a related fieldFAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldExperience working in the aviation industryFamiliarity with MRO systems and predictive maintenanceCertification in data science or a related field (e.g. Certified Data Scientist)Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BIExperience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQLStrong understanding of data modeling and database designFamiliarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or AzureLANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organizationPhysical ability necessary to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of the position, with or without any legally required reasonable accommodations that do not pose an undue hardship.
