Job Description

Research Engineer – CFDHLE Glascoat is a leading manufacturer of glass lined chemical reactors. We are looking for an experienced and talented R&D engineer to join our team and work on design, simulation, and new product development for our glass lined reactor products.Responsibilities:Lead and participate in all phases of product research, design, development, and testing for new and existing glass lined reactor products.Conduct FEA and CFD analysis, multiphase CFD modeling, and simulation of pressure vessels using software such as Comsol, Ansys, Solidworks, AutoCAD, and 3D printing.Perform mixing simulation, heat transfer optimization, induction heating simulation, and other relevant engineering tasks for glass lined reactor products.Develop new products and product customization based on user requirements and market trends.Support manufacturing team with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during production ramp up.Collaborate with quality, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction.Write detailed design specifications, requirements, reports, and documentation for R&D projects.Monitor products in the field and analyze returned products to recommend design modifications and improvements.Research and stay updated on the latest advancements in materials, processes, and technologies related to glass lined reactor products.Manage R&D projects within budget and timeline constraints.Requirements:M.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from IIT or NIT.5+ years of experience as an R&D engineer in the glass lined reactor industry or related fields.Strong knowledge and skills in mechanical and chemical engineering, especially in glass lined reactor design and simulation.Proficient with computer design software and modeling tools such as Comsol, Ansys, Solidworks, AutoCAD, and 3D printing.Experience with project management, budgeting, and team leadership.Self-driven, self-motivated, and innovative with a passion for creating new products and solutions.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Good academic background with a track record of publications and patents (preferred).
