The Sales Manager (SM) is responsible for overseeing sales operations within a designated geographic area for S-CCI India Pvt. Ltd. (Golden Cruiser), ensuring revenue growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, building relationships with distributors and customers, and achieving sales targets. The ASM will be expected to understand market trends, product offerings, and competitor activities to drive the company’s lubricants sales. KEY RESPONISBILITIES Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for lubricants in the assigned territory. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base within the region. Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers in the industry. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure product visibility and competitive positioning in the market. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Regularly visit customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and offer tailored solutions. Provide technical assistance and product knowledge to customers, ensuring the proper use of lubricants for their specific needs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers, ensuring profitable deals and long-term business partnerships. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to monitor competitor activities, customer preferences, and industry trends in the lubricants sector. Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions, competitor pricing, and new product opportunities. Identify emerging market segments and potential clients to boost sales within the region. Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, including pipeline updates, sales forecasts, and market analysis to senior management. Track sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions to address any shortfalls. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure the timely availability of products. Training & Development: Train and motivate a team of sales representatives (if applicable), ensuring they meet performance expectations and adhere to company standards. Provide regular coaching and guidance to help sales personnel improve their product knowledge and sales skills. Brand Promotion & Marketing: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote brand awareness and foster relationships with potential clients. Collaborate with the marketing department to execute promotional campaigns, trade promotions, and customer loyalty programs in the region. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. Maintain accurate customer and sales records in CRM tools and ensure proper documentation of sales transactions.KEY SKILLS & COMPETANCIES Sales Expertise: Strong track record in sales and business development, particularly in the lubricant or automotive industry. Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of lubricants, oils, and related products, as well as their applications across different industries (automotive, industrial, etc.). Negotiation & Closing Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with distributors, customers, and other stakeholders to close profitable deals. Market Knowledge: Familiarity with market dynamics, competitor offerings, and industry trends within the lubricant sector. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions, presentations, and reporting. Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills (if applicable), with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in sales forecasting, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making. Customer-Centric: Ability to build long-term, trusting relationships with customers while understanding their needs and challenges.QUALIFICATIONS PG in Management / MBA & With minimum 8 to 10 year of experience. Sales experience in the lubricant, oil, or automotive industry (preferred). Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of distribution channels, key account management, and B2C sales. Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).WORKING CONDITIONS Full-time, based in [Lucknow]. Extensive travel required within the assigned area.
