Position Overview: The Assistant Professor/Associate Professoris responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the fields of fashion Design, Textiles and Animation & VFX design. They will deliver engaging lectures, develop curriculum, and provide guidance to students on various aspects of these disciplines, including techniques, Illustration and latest design software, design principles, industry trends, and business practices. They will also be expected to conduct research, contribute to the academic community through scholarly publications, and participate in departmental activities. 1. Associate Professor – Design (Fashion/Textiles) Qualifications Required/Desired: Ph.D. in Design M.Des. / M.Tech. in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or a relevant field Candidate with Ph.D. will given preference. Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry in relevant field Key Job Skills to Highlight: Strong academic and research background in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or allied areas Expertise in curriculum design and implementation of innovative pedagogies Proven track record in publishing research papers, patents, and funded projects Mentoring skills for guiding UG, PG, and Ph.D. students Hands-on knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CLO 3D, CorelDRAW) Experience in organizing design exhibitions, workshops, and industry outreach programs Knowledge of sustainable practices and emerging trends in fashion and textiles Leadership qualities for departmental coordination and academic planning Collaboration with industry and ability to build academic-industry linkages Strong communication and presentation skills2. Assistant Professor – Animation and VFX Design Qualifications Required/Desired: Ph.D. in Animation and VFX Design M.
