Role:Manager – Legal Exp:4 to 8 years Budget:15 to 17L Industry Experience:Food, Hotels, Restaurants, QSR (Mandatory) Location:MumbaiRole Summary: The Legal Manager will provide comprehensive legal support across business operations in multiple cities and airports in India, with a primary focus on the food and beverage (F&B) sector. Responsibilities include managing contracts, coordinating litigation, and overseeing intellectual property matters.Key Responsibilities: 1. Contract Management (75%) Draft, review, and negotiate term sheets, MOUs, and agreements for: Franchise and similar business models Supplier and vendor arrangements Real estate contracts of low to medium complexity Ensure legal documents align with business objectives, regulatory norms, and risk mitigation strategies2. Litigation Support Manage litigation and arbitration with external counsel Represent the company in legal proceedings and regulatory forums Maintain compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and contractual obligations3. Intellectual Property (10%) Support the trademark registration process for in-house brands Maintain and manage IP-related records and databases4. Strategic & Operational Legal Support Provide legal guidance for new initiatives and projects Monitor evolving laws impacting the F&B industry Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal alignment in commercial decisions Assess contracts for tax and regulatory implicationsKey Requirements: LL.B. with 4–8 years of experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department Strong exposure to both contracts and litigation Excellent command of written and spoken English High energy, self-motivated, and proactive Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure Sharp legal acumen with a practical business-oriented approachKey Challenges: Navigating the complex and dynamic regulatory environment of the F&B sector Delivering timely, practical, and risk-aware legal solutions Staying continuously updated with industry regulations and legal developments
