This is an India-based Practice Head position to lead the India Consulting Hub of Wipro’s L&A Insurance practice. The individual will do this by working with regional Consulting Leads for Insurance to develop and grow the business and in growing and maintaining the India Consulting Hub talent pool for L&A Insurance. The role holder is expected to grow the portfolio of services, deputizing for and supporting the regional Insurance consulting leads in client (often C-Suite level) conversations as well as drive delivery excellence as both an engagement lead and through the provisioning of high-quality L&A Insurance talent from within the India Consulting Hub.Primary Focus : As a prime focus the L&A Insurance Lead for the India Consulting Hub will naturally pivot towards the European business.Secondary Focus:Supporting the growth of the L&A Insurance business across wider geographies (APMEA, Americas)Responsibilities Core responsibilities will include: Growth: -Defining a sound business growth strategy in conjunction with Regional Insurance Consulting Leads and Account teams globally across Insurance; focus on growing the consulting business contribution to the account through strategic differentiated sales, and higher billing rates and margins. Ensure the consulting business opens new business opportunities and expands Wipro’s client positioning -Growing the revenues attributable to the Indian Consulting Hub and improving margins Solutions:Support the Regional Insurance Consulting leads and Global Insurance Capability lead in Identifying, shaping and defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within Life, Pensions and Annuities space Delivery Leadership:The role holder should be an obvious and able deputy to either the Global Insurance Capability Lead or Regional Insurance Consulting leads on key opportunities and on Wipro’s most strategic L&A Insurance engagements. Competency:Defining & supporting a strong competency/capability-building strategy for the L&A Insurance team within the India Consulting Hub. Responsible for talent, recruitment and capability development in line with market needs Branding:Creating a strong Wipro Market Positioning – help improve Wipro’s mindshare amongst key stakeholders within the client organizationCapabilities Strategic thinking Big picture orientation, conceiving effective strategies to drive growth for the accounts Analytical thinking & problem solving skills Ability to comprehend complex scenarios, propose effective implementation plans & solutions in tackling challenges Leadership & Interpersonal skills Ability to drive & lead the strategic execution, manage change, build relationships with clients, partners, motivate teams & achieve results.
