Location:Delhi, India Type:The first 3 months will be probationary; an offer will be extended based on performance.We are seeking an experienced and politically astute Twitter (X) Head - Political Understanding to lead our engagement with the Indian political landscape. Based in Delhi, you will be responsible for analyzing political trends, building relationships with key political stakeholders, and advising on content strategy related to political discourse on our platform. This role requires deep knowledge of Indian politics, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of social media dynamics.Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze political trends, policy developments, and public sentiment on Twitter (X) in India. Develop and execute strategies for effective political engagement and outreach. Build and maintain strong relationships with political parties, government officials, think tanks, and other key influencers. Provide strategic advice on content policies, community guidelines, and emerging political narratives. Represent Twitter (X) at relevant political forums, conferences, and stakeholder meetings. Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, policy, and safety teams.Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Journalism, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, political consulting, or a similar role, with significant exposure to Indian politics. Proven ability to analyze complex political situations and articulate informed perspectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi. Strong understanding of social media platforms and their impact on political discourse. Existing network within the Indian political ecosystem is a significant plus.
