Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven and people-oriented Unit Manager to lead a small but effective team responsible for sales generation, customer relationship management, and process compliance. This role is ideal for individuals who are confident in team management, customer handling, and driving business outcomes through disciplined execution.As a Unit Manager, you will act as the local point of contact for customer queries, operational follow-ups, and team productivity, ensuring your unit meets both quality and revenue targets. Key Leadership & Performance Management - Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales/Relationship Executives or Advisors. - Set monthly performance targets and monitor achievement against KPIs. - Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide coaching to improve productivity. - Foster a culture of goal-orientation, discipline, and continuous Development & Sales Execution - Drive customer acquisition through field activities, lead generation, and relationship building. - Promote company products/services to potential clients and convert leads into customers. - Meet assigned sales and revenue targets for your unit. - Identify new market segments, cross-sell opportunities, and customer Service & Relationship Management - Serve as the escalation point for customer concerns and ensure timely resolution. - Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers through periodic engagement. - Support onboarding, policy issuance, renewals, and claim coordination if Excellence - Ensure timely and accurate documentation, application processing, and data entry. - Track and report unit-level performance metrics to management. - Ensure compliance with all company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. - Assist in audit preparation and adherence to internal Technical Skills & Tools While this role is operational and sales-focused, familiarity with the following tools/tech platforms will be highly beneficial: - CRM Platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or in-house tools) for lead and customer tracking. - Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets - for maintaining MIS reports, dashboards, incentive calculations. - Digital Communication Tools - WhatsApp Business, Email, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. - Mobile App Usage - Usage of partner/company sales apps or POS tools. - Basic understanding of digital KYC, eKYC processes, and digital onboarding systems. - Knowledge of productivity tools like Google Workspace or MS & Experience - 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or operations (Insurance, BFSI, Retail, Telecom, etc.) - Freshers with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales may also apply. - Experience in handling a team or training others will be an added Competencies - Strong leadership and team-handling skills - Good verbal and written communication in Punjabi, Hindi, and English - Customer-first attitude and problem-solving ability - Target-oriented with a focus on performance and execution - Local market awareness and networking ability (ref:)
