The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for storytelling, pacing, and emotion—bringing real stories to life through impactful editing.Key Responsibilities:Edit documentary-style videos including interviews, voiceovers, archival footage, and B-rollStructure raw footage into a coherent, engaging, and emotionally resonant narrativeCollaborate with directors, producers, and scriptwriters to shape the story arc and toneEnhance content with appropriate music, sound design, transitions, and motion graphicsPerform color correction and audio syncing for a professional finishMaintain project timelines and ensure delivery of high-quality contentOrganize and manage media assets for efficient post-production workflowRequirements:3+ years of experience in editing documentaries or long-form storytelling contentProficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Motion Graphics, Geolayer 3Strong understanding of pacing, emotional cues, and story structureExperience working with voiceovers, subtitles, and multi-cam interview setupsAbility to handle feedback constructively and work under tight deadlines
