We're Hiring: Agriculture Field OfficerLocation: Field-Based – Tamil NaduSalary: ₹25,000 per monthApply: kavitha.a@Isha Foundation is seeking a dynamic and driven Agriculture Field Officer to support our grassroots initiatives across Tamil Nadu. This role is integral to empowering Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and enhancing agricultural practices at the ground level.What You’ll Do:- Conduct baseline surveys and field studies for FPOs and related agricultural projects. - Gather, compile, and analyze crop production data from FPO members. - Drive initiatives to improve productivity through sustainable and modern farming methods. - Develop value chain strategies customized for each FPO. - Organize capacity-building workshops and training sessions for farmers and stakeholders. - Engage with agricultural extension officers and value chain actors. - Represent the project in field meetings, workshops, and community forums. - Work closely with Project Managers and District Coordinators to execute on-ground strategies. - Regularly document and report project progress, case studies, and key learnings. - Demonstrate advanced post-harvest techniques to farming communities. - Provide crop-specific advisory on pest, disease management, and improved input usage. - Recommend and facilitate trials of new seed varieties and agricultural practices.✅ What We’re Looking For:- Strong knowledge of agriculture and rural development. - Willingness and stamina for extensive field travel across Tamil Nadu. - Excellent communication and facilitation skills for farmer engagement. - Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about improving rural livelihoods.If you're ready to create a lasting impact on the ground and work closely with farming communities, mail your resume to kavitha.a@
