You'll architect scalable frontend solutions and drive technical decisions that shape our product's future while working with modern technologies in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high-performance web and mobile applications using React, Next.js, and React Native across multiple platformsArchitect reusable component libraries and maintain design systems that ensure consistency across all productsCollaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into exceptional user experiencesOptimize application performance, implement SEO best practices, and ensure accessibility compliance across all deliverablesLead code reviews and establish frontend development standardsIntegrate with RESTful APIs endpoints while implementing robust error handling and data management patternsDrive technical discussions around frontend architecture decisions and contribute to our engineering roadmapStay current with emerging frontend technologies and advocate for adoption of tools that improve team productivityRequired Qualifications4-6 years of professional frontend development experience with a strong portfolio of shipped productsExpert-level proficiency in React ecosystem including hooks, context, and modern patternsExtensive experience building mobile applications with React Native and understanding of platform-specific considerationsAdvanced knowledge of Next.js including SSR, SSG, API routes, and deployment optimizationStrong command of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript with ability to write type-safe, maintainable codeProficiency in state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API for complex application stateSolid understanding of modern CSS including Flexbox, Grid, and CSS-in-JS libraries (styled-components, emotion)Experience with testing frameworks including Jest, React Testing Library, and end-to-end testing with CypressFamiliarity with build tools, bundlers (Webpack, Vite), and modern development workflowsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex frontend issues across different browsers and devicesPreferred (Nice-to-Have) QualificationsExperience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and service worker implementationKnowledge of advanced data fetching patterns such as Client-side Optimization, Real-time Data Patterns, Advanced State Management and Error Handling & Loading States.Familiarity with design systems and component library development using tools like StorybookExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for frontend applicationsUnderstanding of web performance optimization techniques including code splitting, lazy loading, and caching strategiesExperience with analytics implementation and A/B testing frameworksWhy Join Electric Miles?• Work with a highly dynamic, passionate, and diverse team across four continents.• Influence and shape the future of EV technology and sustainability.• Opportunity to take ownership and make a genuine impact.• Supportive, collaborative, and innovation-driven culture.If you are excited by innovation, have an unstoppable “can-do” mindset, and love working in teams committed to transforming mobility, we’d love to hear from you!Join us and help shape the electric future!
