You'll be at the forefront of enabling secure, scalable, and observable communication between our mission-critical microservices, all within a fast-paced banking domain environment. If you thrive on solving complex challenges and have a knack for creating robust and efficient systems, this is your chance to make a significant impact.What You'll Be Doing:Architect, deploy, and maintain our Kong Mesh infrastructure, ensuring seamless service-to-service communication across Kubernetes and hybrid environments.Dive deep into configuring and optimizing mesh features, including mutual TLS (mTLS), intelligent traffic routing, robust circuit breakers, precise rate limiting, and comprehensive observability.Become a trusted partner to our development teams and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), guiding them through the journey of onboarding their applications onto the service mesh.Embrace automation! You'll build and refine our CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate service mesh deployments and configurations.Keep a watchful eye on the mesh performance, proactively troubleshoot any hiccups, and fine-tune configurations to achieve peak efficiency.Champion security by implementing and enforcing mesh policies to ensure consistently secure communication between all microservices.Share your expertise by creating clear and comprehensive documentation for configurations, workflows, and best practices, empowering the entire organization.What You'll Bring:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform/infrastructure engineering roles.Proven experience implementing and managing Kong Mesh (or similar service mesh technologies like Istio, Linkerd, Kuma).A strong grasp of Kubernetes, Envoy proxy, and the intricacies of container orchestration.Deep understanding of microservices architecture and the critical aspects of network security, including mTLS and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Helm.Fluency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge and contribute to building a world-class platform, we encourage you to apply!
