Position Summary:The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for leading high-level prospecting and sales activities for End-of-Line (EOL) Automation and advanced warehousing automation solutions within the assigned territory.Key Roles & Responsibilities:Comprehensive Product Knowledge – Acquire in-depth expertise in Signode’s Automation and Warehousing solutions/applications to effectively promote and sell high-performance automation systems, often integrated with End-of-Line Packaging Automation.Territory & Sales Targets – This position is based in Hyderabad/South, with an annual sales revenue target ranging between ₹30 to ₹40 crore.Sales Activity Management – Oversee prospecting, customer outreach, and networking to develop new business opportunities. Conduct sales meetings, product presentations, and lead generation initiatives.Pre-Sales Research & Solution Development – Analyze customer processes, collect relevant data, and collaborate with the Solution Engineering team to conceptualize and present optimized automation solutions.Stakeholder Engagement & Key Account Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring effective engagement throughout the sales cycle.Consultative Selling Approach – Leverage a solutions-driven sales strategy to provide comprehensive automation systems tailored to customer needs.Account Receivables Management – Monitor and ensure the timely collection of payments for successful transactions.Candidate Profile:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics preferred or above.Industrial Project sales experience of 5 Years preferred. Minimum 2-3 years consultative sales experience preferably in Automation. Knowledge of manufacturing industry & processes related to Warehousing processes - experience in Automation business is preferred. Experience of Capital Equipment Sale, Technological Product Sales.Exposure to Key segments like Food, Beverages, FMCG, Textile. Excellent communication & presentation skills.
