We also organize Sakura Quest, a flagship cultural and academic event that brings Japanese institutions and Indian students together through workshops, fairs, and networking activities.Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic outreach and partnership-building efforts across our core offerings: the Education Japan counseling business and the Sakura Quest event series. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, forging institutional relationships, increasing student and partner engagement, and driving brand visibility.Key Responsibilities For Education Japan Counseling Business: Identify and build partnerships with schools, colleges, education agents, and stakeholders Develop outreach strategies to attract prospective students to study in Japan Represent Education Japan at education fairs, webinars, and institutional meetings Build and maintain a database of leads, partners, and potential collaborators Collaborate with the counseling team to align business development with admissions goals For Sakura Quest Event: Drive participation of schools, universities, sponsors, and media partners Promote the event through strategic communication and partnership development Assist in event planning, logistics, and execution alongside the event team Identify collaboration opportunities with embassies, cultural institutions, and corporates Support post-event reporting and relationship nurturing for future events General Responsibilities: Research market trends and competitor activity Develop promotional materials, pitch decks, and partnership proposals Track performance metrics and prepare business development reports Coordinate with internal teams for smooth communication and project deliveryRequirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or related fields 3–5 years of relevant work experience in education, event management, or international partnerships Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Proactive and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; CRM experience is a plus Interest in Japan, international education, or youth engagement is highly preferred
