TVS Digital is a part of TVS Holdings and has also currently invested in several early-stage high tech start-ups globally in areas of connected manufacturing, fleet management and credit services.Purpose of the role: The Enterprise Application Monitoring Specialist is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise-level monitoring solutions. This role ensures that all critical applications and systems are monitored for performance, availability, and reliability, helping to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact business operations. Role Description Monitoring Implementation and Maintenance: Design, deploy, and manage monitoring tools and solutions for enterprise applications. Ensure the monitoring systems are updated, patched, and secured. Performance and Availability Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance, health, and availability of applications. Establish and maintain performance baselines and thresholds. Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose application issues, coordinating with relevant teams for resolution. Develop and implement incident response plans. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze monitoring data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for optimization. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on application performance and availability. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless application performance. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding application health and performance metrics. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest monitoring tools and technologies. Propose and implement improvements to the monitoring processes and systems. Experience on monitoring tools : Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in relevant monitoring tools or IT infrastructure. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
