Their combined expertise makes it possible to deliver complete solution across various industry sectors.Job Purpose:To lead and drive business development efforts within a specific industry vertical by leveraging deep industry expertise and networks. The focus is on generating new opportunities across all logistics services, including freight, warehousing, distribution, customs clearance, project logistics, and supply chain solutions.Key Responsibilities:1. Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the assigned industry vertical. 2. Leverage industry knowledge and professional network to create entry points and long-term client relationships. 3. Understand customer supply chain challenges and propose customized logistics solutions. 4. Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Contracts, Pricing, Customer Service, Accounts) to develop competitive proposals and presentations. 5. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the assigned sector to advise on industry trends, market dynamics, and client expectations. 6. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and brand visibility. 7. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development targets. 8. Provide regular market intelligence, competitor updates, and strategic inputs to leadership.Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree required · 10+ years of experience in the relevant industry vertical, with at least some exposure to logistics, supply chain, or related functions. · Strong understanding of supply chain/logistics requirements in the specific sector. · Existing CXO-level connects within the industry would be highly preferred.Skills and Attributes:· Strong experience in logistics business development in an of these industries.
