Pre-Employment Paperwork : Preparing necessary forms like tax forms (W-4), direct deposit forms, benefits enrollment forms, I-9 (employment eligibility verification), and background check consent. Welcome Communication : Sending a welcome email with key details about the first day First Day Company Orientation : Introducing the company’s mission, values, culture, and structure. This may include a presentation about the company's history, policies, and vision. HR Paperwork Completion : Ensuring the new hire completes any remaining documents such as W-4, I-9, and benefits paperwork. This may be done through an HR management system or in-person. Benefits Overview : Introducing the new employee to available benefits such as healthcare, 401(k), PTO, and other perks. HR may provide guidance on how to enroll or make selections. Visa and Immigration Application Assistance: Advising employees:Providing expert guidance on the most suitable visa options for individuals or employees, such as work visas, family-based visas, student visas, etc. Completing and filing forms : Preparing and filing immigration petitions, applications, and other required documentation (e.g., Form I-130, I-140, I-485 in the U.S.). Ensuring compliance:Making sure that all required documents are submitted and ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
