The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data visualization, data modeling, and business intelligence using Microsoft Power BI. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, visually compelling reports and dashboards that empower data-driven decisions across the organization.Key Skills:1. Proficiency in Power BI: Expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, with a strong understanding of data visualization best practices.2. DAX and M Language: Advanced skills in DAX for complex calculations and M language for data transformations.3. SQL & Data Querying: Strong SQL skills to efficiently extract and process data from multiple sources.4. Data Warehousing & ETL: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes, ensuring data consistency across models.5. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to approach complex business questions with data-driven solutions.6. Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.7. Power BI Security & Governance: Experience in implementing security measures within Power BI to ensure proper data governance is a plus.Key Responsibilities: 1. Report Development: Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that offer clear and actionable insights into business performance.2. Data Modeling & Integration: Create and maintain complex data models within Power BI, integrating data from various sources including SQL Server, Excel, and cloud-based databases.3. Data Querying & Optimization: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data, ensuring efficient data processing and accurate reporting.4. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions, ensuring that deliverables meet business needs and objectives.5. Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Power BI reports, data refresh schedules, and performance, ensuring consistent and reliable access to insights.6. Data Security & Governance: Implement security measures, including role-based access control, to protect data integrity and ensure reports are accessible only to authorized users.7.
