Experience: 8-15 YearsLocation: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, AhmedabadWork Mode: Hybrid (2 days work from office is mandate) Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for driving the design, implementation, and maintenance of our AWS-based infrastructure and overseeing seamless application deployment to production. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services, including Terraform, ECS, CloudFront, and RDS , alongside strong expertise in CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, API management tools like Apigee and API Gateway, and security integration via Okta.As a Lead Engineer, you will work closely with the development, operations, and security teams to automate, monitor, and optimize our infrastructure and applications. Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in a multi-environment (development, testing, staging, production) setup.- Architect API management solutions using Apigee API Proxy and AWS API Gateway, ensuring security and scalability across the enterprise.- Implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, integrating automated testing, code quality checks, and container orchestration.- Lead the CI/CD automation process using GitLab, integrating automated testing, security, and performance checks.- Coordinate with multiple teams, including development, operations, security, and testing teams, to ensure successful and timely production deployments.- Experience implementing and managing monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).- Create and manage capabilities and epics in Jira, tracking the development process and ensuring alignment with project timelines.- Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions using CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Splunk to ensure real-time visibility into system performance, security, and availability.- Migrate on-premise applications to AWS, ensuring minimal downtime, optimal performance, and cost-efficiency.- Drive performance testing and API testing efforts using tools like Postman, identifying bottlenecks and ensuring smooth application performance.- Utilize Akamai for content delivery optimization, ensuring low-latency, high-availability application access across global user bases.- Lead efforts for application modernization, refactoring legacy applications for cloud-native deployments with modern microservices architectures.- Ensure application security integration using Okta for identity and access management, ensuring robust authentication and authorization practices.- Establish best practices for cloud security and compliance, ensuring encryption, IAM policies, and network security groups are properly configured.- Coordinate defect fixes during pilot/dark deployments, collaborating with teams to resolve issues before final production cutover.- Create and manage disaster recovery (DR) strategies to ensure high availability and business continuity in cloud environments.- Oversee test automation and performance testing using both custom scripts and tools, ensuring the stability of the applications pre- and post-deployment.- Leverage Linux expertise, Python, and shell scripting for automation, monitoring, and optimization of system processes.- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and apply vulnerability fixes to maintain a secure infrastructure.
