This is a remote role requiring hands-on expertise in security, change management, automation, and performance optimization.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain Akamai configurations across dev, test, staging, and production environmentsProvide proactive support for security, DDoS protection, and performance tuningAct as a consultant to development teams for Akamai-related integrationsSupport large-scale projects, including CMS migrations and traffic management initiativesCoordinate with Akamai for holiday load testing and high-traffic event planningEnsure domain hygiene and compliance for URL shorteners (e.g., aka.ms)Provide DRI (Direct Responsible Individual) support for all Akamai-related servicesLeverage Akamai features such as ESI, EdgeWorkers, and advanced caching rulesAutomate manual tasks using Akamai APIs and custom scriptsRequired Skills:Deep knowledge of Akamai configuration and management toolsStrong understanding of Akamai APIs and automation practicesExperience with EdgeWorkers, ESI, and URL shortening servicesStrong problem-solving and incident management skillsExcellent communication and coordination with global teams
