A stealth-mode DeFi infrastructure startup is building the operating system for on-chain capital and finance. The team is working on scalable products that unify fragmented liquidity, optimize debt/yield flows, and unlock capital efficiency across DeFi.This is not a laid-back role. The bar is high. Impact here is direct, visible, and rewarded.What You’ll Be DoingDesign and implement quantitative models for pricing, risk, and strategy execution in DeFi.Build low-latency, high-performance systems for on-chain financial operations.Conduct deep-dive analysis of on-chain data, market trends, and protocol mechanics to inform model design.Lead backtesting and simulation efforts to ensure model robustness and execution fidelity.Collaborate with researchers, smart contract developers, and product teams to ship production-ready systems.Continuously optimize systems for speed, accuracy, and efficiency.What You Must Bring3+ years in quantitative development - finance, HFT, trading systems, or equivalent.Strong programming expertise (Python/C++/Rust) with focus on performance and maintainability.Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and software design.Strong foundation in quantitative methods - probability, stats, linear algebra, numerical analysis.Genuine interest in blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized finance.Bias for execution.
